INFECTIOUS DISEASES PHYSICIAN
Dr Satwik Motaganahalli is an infectious diseases physician with expertise in managing bacterial, viral and fungal infections including complex infections in immunocompromised hosts.
Satwik obtained his medical degree from Monash University in 2012 and underwent physician training at Eastern Health and Austin Health. He completed his fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in infectious diseases and is currently undertaking a PhD through the University of Melbourne aimed at optimising antibiotic therapy of diabetic foot infections. He also has clinical and research interests in antimicrobial stewardship, surgical infections and infections in immunocompromised hosts.
Dr Motaganahalli has clinical appointments at Austin Health, and also consults at Epworth Freemasons Private Hospital and Warringal Private Hospital.
